A. It is best to wait 24 hours before watering your lawn. This ensures that any weeds in your lawn have had a chance to absorb the weed control. HOWEVER: it is not necessary to water-in the application. You can wait until the next rainfall without risk of damage or loss of potency.
A. It is best to keep off your lawn after this application until the weed control part of it has a chance to dry, approximately 2 - 4 hours. If you want to be completely sure, minimize traffic on your grass until tomorrow.
A. Probably nothing. It takes a considerable amount of precipitation to wash off weed control once it has been applied, and it won't hurt the fertilizer as all. If you still see weeds in a few weeks, call us so we can re-treat them.
A. A single application of broadleaf weed control will eliminate approximately 90% of the weeds in your lawn. Some of the harder to kill weeds (violets, oxalis, etc.) will require repeated applications to be controlled. Also, just because they are dead doesn't mean they will disappear, the plant tissue does need to break down.
A. We recommend you wait at least 24 hours after the application. At this time of year it is best to cut your grass no less than three inches in height and you should attempt to mow it as late in the day as possible. This will help minimize moisture loss keeping your grass healthier and greener.
